El proyecto FURIA surge en un periodo crítico de México, entre una guerra fallida contra el narcotráfico y protestas ciudadanas, la sensación de quererse acostumbrar, de poetizar la violencia, de tratar de comprender el absurdo mecanismo desencadenado. Este proyecto encuentra un punto medio entre un mar de imágenes que violentan, extraídas de medios de comunicación, y la iconografía del cómic: la violencia y el globo de texto sin diálogos.

The FURIA project arises in a critical period in Mexico, between a failed war against drug traffick and citizen protests, the sensation of want to get used to, or poetize this violence, to try to understand the absurd mechanism unchained. This project finds a middle point between images of all types of violence extracted frounded in the media and the iconography of the comic: violence and text balloons without dialogue.
